President and Co-founder of the African Alliance of Rhode Island (AARI). Mr. Kolawole retired last year after working as an electrical engineer at National Grid. He is an adjunct professor at Bristol Community College.
Graduated from City College of New York and received a master’s from Brooklyn Polytechnic and an MBA from Johnson & Wales. He was an assistant professor at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria in 1982. He also taught at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is a co-founder and former President of Oasis International in Providence and chairman of a credit union. Mr. Kolawole also spends time providing assistance to young people in the community.
